Fuelled by Passion, Grounded in Discipline

From entrepreneurship to education to films, Sarvesh Goel moves with calm, focus, and an ever-evolving drive. With determination, he leads initiatives like the Lucknow Run, a community-first fitness movement. We recently spoke to him about fitness, discipline, and the thought behind his many ventures and passions. With a demanding schedule across entrepreneurship, education, travel, and films, how do you incorporate fitness, and what keeps you consistent? Whatever I do, I do it with passion and not as a duty. People see me as an example, so it is my responsibility to inspire them with my actions. Even when I travel at odd hours, I make sure to rest properly and carry my gym bag everywhere so I can work out whenever time permits- be it running, gym, or a sport. I live a disciplined, simple life without shortcuts or supplements. I’m a veg- etarian and a teetotaller, and I try to avoid sugar and packaged foods. What are the little choices you make every day that help you stay disciplined, calm, and still passionate about everything you do?
Passion drives it, but it works because I say no to a lot. I skip social events, keep gatherings short, and meditate regularly. I don’t show anger, listen to criticism, and try to see things from others’ perspectives. Staying a learner keeps success from turning into arrogance. When challenges arise, I don’t run away-I face them fully, and that gives me peace. Discipline ties it all together. How has the film that you have ected in influenced the way you approach acting, and what are your plans going forward in the industry?

Acting isn’t my profession-it’s my source of happiness. That’s why preparation and fitness are non-negotiable. Working with seasoned actors like Raj Babbar ji gave me confidence, and I now plan to take up one or two projects a year to keep improving my skills in the field. What did you learn from the cast and crew?
It taught me teamwork and adaptability. Film units assemble, create, and disperse quickly, unlike long-term business teams. That culture builds humility and focus. The Lucknow Run has become one of the city’s most loved fitness events. What can people look forward to this year? The Lucknow Run is close to my heart. It’s fulfilling to see people from all walks of life connect through it. This year, many city personalities are promoting it, helping it grow into a true community movement.
