Anuj, Asha shine in 21-km Lucknow Run:-

Anuj Singh Tomar and Asha Singh emerged victorious in the men’s and women’s 21-km category run while Sushan Limbu and Suman won the 10-km Lucknow Run’half-marathon-2021 organised by Centrum Lucknow, in association with UP Krida Bharti, on Sunday. Lucknow Run was organized in four categories (21km, 10km, 5km and 3km). The 21km half-marathon was flagged off by ADG Binod Singh, 10km run by ADG SN Sabat and IAS officer Anil Kumar. The 5km and 3km fun runs were flagged off by UPBJP chief Swatantra Dev Singh, UP minister Swati Singh, MLC Avanish Kumar Singh and Lucknow divisional commissioner Ranjan Kumar More than a thousand people took part in the event.

SSB Women’s Team Win Bronze:

The women’s SSB Central team, which is stationed in Lucknow, won the bronze medal in the 1st Hockey India Senior Women’s Inter-Department National Championship held in Kolkata, West Bengal.SSB bagged the third spot by winning the match against CRPF5-0. Alpha Kerketta of SSB was declared the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
