Lucknow – The city witnessed a fitness revolution on Sunday as over 3,000 runners took part in the much-celebrated Lucknow Run 2024, promoting wellness, discipline, and community engagement. The event featured four race formats, the highlight being the 21 km half marathon, where Avadh Narayan Yadav and Premlata Gupta secured first place in the men’s and women’s categories respectively.
Starting from GD Goenka School, Sushant Golf City, the race marked the sixth edition of this prestigious citywide initiative. Runners across age groups — from students to professionals — came together to echo the event’s core message: fitness is the foundation of a healthier society.

The race was flagged off by Lt. Gen. Mukesh Chadha, Chief of Staff, Central Command. Dignitaries including event founder and GD Goenka School Chairman Sarvesh Goel, Director Anurag Kashyap, and other notable figures extended their support to the runners and volunteers.
